Valleycon 2015 Army Preview

This is what i had settled on i was chopping and changing things after 2 disastrous games but everything else i came up with just didn't seem or look right. Plus i had spent a lot of time repainting all this stuff so wanted to use it. With 3 of the 4 half track borne stuff able to be dismounted any missions where i would be defending using mobile reserves would mean that i could get most stuff on table anyway. Ive never really used any warriors before at events Ive used Patton in a few friendlies but nothing else. With his fearless roll he will hopefully keep the company on the table when it counts.

Tank Company, from North Africa
Tank Company HQ M4 Sherman, 2iC M4 Sherman (230 pts)
- Warrior Harmon (40 pts)

Tank Platoon - Command M4 Sherman, 2x M4 Sherman (345 pts)
Tank Platoon - Command M4 Sherman, 2x M4 Sherman (345 pts)

Armoured Mortar Platoon - Command Carbine, M2 half-track with .50 cal AA MG,
- 3x M4 81mm MMC (80 pts)
- 2x Equip M4 81mm MMC with .50 cal AA MG (10 pts)

Armoured Rifle Platoon - Command Rifle, 5x Rifle, 2x M1919 LMG, M2 60mm mortar, 2x M3 half-track equipped with .50 cal AA MG, 3x M3 half-track equipped with AA MG (175 pts)
- Replace M3 37mm gun with Bazooka (0 pts)
- Bazooka (20 pts)

Armoured Rifle Platoon - Command Rifle, 5x Rifle, 2x M1919 LMG, M2 60mm mortar, 2x M3 half-track equipped with .50 cal AA MG, 3x M3 half-track equipped with AA MG (175 pts)
- Replace M3 37mm gun with Bazooka (0 pts)

AA Artillery SP Platoon  - Command M13 MGMC (Twin .50cal), T28E1 CGMC (37mm) (75 pts)
- Replace M13 MGMC (Twin .50cal) with T28E1 CGMC (37mm) (5 pts)

The trusty M4 Sherman I have been experimenting with camo netting it doesn't look that good in the photo but i think in real like it looks great

My Company command tanks and General Harmon.

These were old BF half tracks so never had any crew so had to find some appropriate posed infantry to go in the back.

    Looking good John, those half-tracks look nice all finished up. The netting looks cool too, nice touch. You've got a very mobile force there, with a lot shooting dice. It should be well suited to most of the missions. See you there!

      Thanks im hopping that the bigger quantity of of semi good guns will be better then fewer better Guns and with most missions requiring to move even for the defender mobility will be key. (I HOPE) That or i just painted a lot of nice coffins.
